As all of the distinguishing factors of which would into play on one fatefull day, when a journey man counterfeiting, teen tried to pass a $10 spot on cigarette . Which I would put through the gauntlet, after noticing that the weight and texture was off… prompting me to check for the security strip which was missing. Although, in itself is not a full proof, determining factor as a fact… because older currency sometimes has it missing. By idiots whom vandalize federal notes by removing it, not caring about the difficulty this might have on future holders. Which I have had the unfortunate experience of encountering, after having had to deal with paper notes in the course of employment for many years; to run into $50’s as well as $100’s with this visible vandilism . That prompts you to rely on other senses, to avoid getting taken for a Quote, sucker or looser.
The skills of which have NEVER failed me before, although it’s important to note that not having that strip presents a real challenge. N, I learned early on, that if it passes all the other tests… all I gotta do is pass it on. Needless to say, that this revelation squashed it… as well it should anyone with common sense. N, noone should have to go through this, just to determine someone is on that cryptonite.
